In this role, the manager supports marketing efforts across the company to optimize sales efforts and accelerate growth. This individual is responsible for supporting marketing strategies across our verticals, supporting our value proposition, while ensuring brand and voice excellence and consistency.

The Manager, Marketing & Sales Support is experienced at developing and managing a variety of marketing and sales tools to directly support sales and growth strategies. The Manager is an expert at developing compelling proposals and presentations, marketing collateral and other resources and is comfortable writing and working in a variety of communications formats.

This individual will have a strong history and direct experience working collaboratively with both sales teams and field operating leaders to support growth and sales strategies. This individual should have a demonstrated track record of delivering successful outcomes and an ability to create trusting relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally will be critical to success.

This role is part of the marketing and communication department and reports to the Director of Marketing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manage sales and marketing support and enablement strategies including development and maintenance of sales tools to effectively deliver the Towne Park value proposition across all vertical markets. Maintain all content and the sales resource center and including up to date proposals, presentations, sell sheets, infographics and other marketing materials.

Act as in-house creative services resource to design and develop various marketing and collateral needs.

Key resource and partner to the sales team to support proposal and presentation development to enhance effectiveness and drive sales efficiencies and accelerate growth.

  • Marketing & Sales Tool development and management: In partnership with the Director of Marketing, develop and execute the overall strategy for our marketing and sales enablement Center of Excellence in alignment with organizational and growth goals.
  • Process Optimization: Implement and enhance proposal development processes to improve efficiency, quality, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Proposal Oversight: Oversee the creation of compelling and competitive proposals, ensuring they meet client requirements and reflect the organization's value proposition.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to maintain consistency, accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to brand standards and voice in all proposals.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for the sales and field teams to enhance their skills and keep them informed about industry best practices.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and tailor proposals to address specific requirements, ensuring a client-centric approach.
  • Support creative design and PowerPoint creation: Partner with the sales team to develop and maintain proposal/presentation templates and effectively update as needed. Support broader organizational creative services needs as required.
  • Proposal Library Management: Maintain a comprehensive proposal library, including templates, case studies, and other relevant content, to facilitate efficient proposal creation.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the proposal center, providing regular reports to leadership.
  • Copywriting: Partner with Marketing and Communications leadership to develop content for thought leadership articles, sales collateral, social media and other needs as necessary.
  • CRM Tools (desired): Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track sales activities, manage leads, and provide insights.
  • Support marketing campaign implementation and reporting (desired): in partnership with the Director of Marketing. Supports targeted sales and marketing list management and development, marketing and sales automation management and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA Required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing, sales/sales operations/sales enablement experience and proven track record.
  • Direct experience creating sales tools and proposals and working with sales teams.
  • Sales proposal management expertise and understanding of best practices critical.
  • Experience in planning and managing projects and processes, as well as, allocating resources, monitoring progress, and establishing budgets to accomplish goals.
  • Experience working in the hospitality, healthcare and/or service industry preferred.
  • Design/creative development experience a plus.
  • Experience with CRM (such as Salesforce.com) and sales enablement a plus.

SCOPE 

Authority to Act:

  • Performs duties independently with minimal supervision, operating from specific and definite directions and instructions. Decisions are of a routine nature made within prescribed operating guidelines, policies and procedures. Mistakes/errors may result in work stoppage, loss of business, poor customer relations and/or damage to product, all of which can have negative financial implications for the organization.

The majority of work will be performed in climate-controlled environment, but may be exposed to inclement weather and varying degrees of temperatures on occasion.

Travel

Travel of up to 5% may be required.
