We are looking for a highly motivated and versatile ‘Chief of staff’ to the Benelux Country Managers office to act as a trusted advisor to the Country Manager & VP/GM Card Services and Country Executive Team in Benelux. The Manager will see and influence how decisions are made in our organization, provide recommendations for areas of improvement, and lead key activities to enable the success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a thorough partner for the Country Manager and Benelux (Country) leadership team;
  • Work closely with the Benelux International Card Services (‘ICS’) Leadership team on business planning, management and strategy development, including development of the annual plan and quarterly updates of associated plans;
  • Strong financial understanding to review and analysis of the market business P&L; work closely with Finance to coordinate, monitor and report on the budget for the Benelux;
  • Own and execute on the ICS colleague engagement strategy / plan;
  • Manage internal organizational communications through a wide range of channels including memos, announcements and Town Halls;
  • Overall responsibility for managing meeting content and presentations, including updates to senior business leaders, Town Halls, and regular business unit reviews. Particular emphasis on creating effective/ impactful presentations to summarize complex ideas and recommendations;
  • Coordination of key talent / people related processes (talent assessment, year-end process, organizational changes, etc.);
  • Lead other ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • The role is a multi-faceted one and requires analytical, strategy, and consultative skills 
  • Extensive experience in project management and change management including ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities with time-sensitive deadlines in a complex, fast-paced environment; 
  • Exceptional qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills (issue identification, problem structuring, analysis, development of recommendations); 
  • Exemplary positive attitude & interpersonal skills, with a consistent record in successfully building, maintaining, and leveraging relationships with senior management at all levels within the organization; 
  • Be a highly motivated self-starter who can drive results and get things done in a self-directed manner, with excellent organizational skills and careful attention to detail; 
  • Have exemplary written and verbal communication skills, including strong Microsoft office skills including PowerPoint and Excel; 
  • Strong executive presence and proven ability to exercise the utmost discretion when handling confidential matters;
  • Energetic, curious, self-motivated, proactive and able to work well under pressure and in a changing environment;
  • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously;
  • Getting other with you, being an team player and strong collaborator;
  • Optimistic attitude and a good sense of humor.
