Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks. Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must hold a valid Nebraska food handlers certification or be able to attain within 30 days of employment. Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training as established by The Salvation Army.

Physical requirements include good speaking, hearing and vision. Excellent manual dexterity. Ability to stand, bend and reach for extended periods of time, dexterity of hands and fingers to operate equipment. This position requires the ability to lift and/or move more than 30 pounds. Must be able to walk frequently, including stairs.
Working Conditions: The work environment is a community center with light to moderate traffic and noise levels. Must be able to work in a variety of environments including but not limited to darkened rooms, around crowds, loud noises, small spaces, and/or flashing lights.

Job Summary/Primary Purpose: Provide support and assistance to Events functions at the Kroc Center, acting as the primary client liaison. Work with clients and Kroc staff to assure successful events that exceed expectations and provide a superior guest experience. Assist with all aspects of event prep, execution, and completion. Assist Community Engagement Director with client contact, proposals, contract development, Banquet Event Order (BEO) creation, and other administrative duties. Point of contact for external caterers.
