Build a best-in-class enterprise and local SEO practice and strategy across technical, content and authority
Guide Digital Designer and Copywriter in production and prioritization of high quality content articles for landing pages, blogs, GBP posts and other SEO-focused needs
Act as primary point of contact to ensure quality and timely SOW completion for relevant agencies hired to assist in site SEO strategies
Serve as an evangelist for SEO across the Brand, working with cross-functional teams to instill SEO best practices, update processes, improve communication and results
You will partner with our Product and Engineering teams to establish an SEO-first implementation strategy that ensures best practices are implemented from design through launch; on and off domain/publisher sites
You will partner closely with the Service Line, Creative and the Digital teams to establish customer-friendly content to support SEO strategies
You will provide clear prioritization and rationale for your initiatives, and will listen and carefully consider your partner’s needs and objectives to find common solutions that meet the needs of our Patients and modern SEO best-practices
Perform ongoing keyword research & gap analysis to uncover new and/or optimization opportunities with content
Partner with Paid Media, Social and Creative teams to align workstreams and content to the holistic strategy
Analyze link profile reports and find patterns of potential spammy links to update disavow files
Establish program KPI’s and drive execution to achieve annual traffic and appointment targets
Be able to report on and communicate shifts in traffic, performance and rankings
Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing latest trends and best practices, and communicate those to key stakeholders
Skills/Qualifications:
This role requires an individual with strong technical background, excellent communication skills and ability to translate business/marketing needs to technical requirements
4+ years of progressive experience in SEO, Search Marketing, Web Development, Content Marketing, or related field
Extensive knowledge of on-page SEO, technical SEO and search engine ranking factors
Experience with relevant SEO tools (ex: Screaming Frog, GSC, Conductor, etc.) and web analytics tools (ex: Google Analytics, etc.)
Ability to read, write, and troubleshoot basic JS, HTML, and CSS
Expertise in A/B and other testing methods and experience measuring SEO tactics via these methods
High level of initiative and proven ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to rally teams from across large organizations around clear objectives and key results
Personal commitment to putting the customer first, prioritizing user experience above search engines and adhering to Google Webmaster Guidelines
Clear communicator, with the ability to translate technical details to non-technical stakeholders
