As a Product Services Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of addressing product and service complaints from various stakeholders, including customers, agents, inspectors, and contractors. Your primary focus will be to swiftly analyze issues, develop effective solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to implement resolutions while minimizing financial impact on the company. You'll serve as the liaison between offsite locations, customers, and internal departments to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution of field claims.

Essential Functions:

  • Negotiate and resolve product complaints from shipment to resolution, considering both commercial and physical aspects.
  • Coordinate internal activities to address complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of product issues and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prevent recurrence of problems.
  • Communicate extensively with external stakeholders and internal departments to facilitate problem resolution and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in joint department planning and policy implementation.

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate:

  • Preferred Bachelors with 3+ years relevant experience or Associates Degree with 5+ years relevant experience or 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Available for occasional domestic travel (up to 5%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience with Valmont manufacturing processes and policies.
  • Extensive product knowledge within the L&T Division.
  • Proficiency in analyzing production prints, project plans, and customer specifications.
  • Experience with Universe, Jira, IFS, AutoCAD, and Call Center operations.

This role is primarily office-based, with the possibility of a hybrid remote/office setup after the initial training period.
