Job Description

Individual Accountabilities:

  • Provide technical engineering solution to regional application projects
  • Keeps self updated to latest technology stack in cloud computing and their benefits/drawbacks
  • Provide expert guidance as tutorials, documentation, sample projects that help solve one or more technical problems.
  • Builds, codes, tests, maintain high quality software for various tech stack like Springboot, Java, AngularJS, Micro-services and CRM.
  • Participates in Agile sprints and ceremonies; supports rapid iteration and development
  • Translates user requirements into software design requirements
  • Reviews design created as part of architecture board by architects in Asia
  • Accepts and modifies specifications and standards
  • Manages portions of development project
  • Coaches teammates at lower levels
  • Contributes code across Division
  • Has positive impact to specific organizational entities & understands nature of impact
  • Top contributor and often enables others to contribute as well understanding of web technologies like JavaScript, NodeJS, AngularJS

Job Requirements:

  • Working with Agile and DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and other approaches to accelerate the delivery of new features
  • Expert knowledge in Spring Technologies like Spring Boot, Spring Core
  • Expert knowledge in unit testing, integration testing thru Springboot testing framework
  • Expert knowledge in Java Core 11, 17
  • Expert knowledge in programming for multi-processors, cloud technology based solutions like Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Expert knowledge of REST/SOAP, data connectivity layers using JPA/JTA (Hibernate/Bitronix)
  • Expert knowledge of object oriented programming language and design patterns.
  • Strong working experience with in-memory database technologies (e.g. Gemfire, Hazelcast etc...)
  • Strong working experience with middle-ware technologies (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka, MQSeries)
  • Strong understanding of web technologies like JavaScript, NodeJS, AngularJS
  • Familiar with API-driven development and principles of API using products like Apigee, Apigee EDGE
  • Familiar with at least one scripting languages like JavaScript, Python
  • Prioritizes efficient code production by using open-source frameworks and patterns
  • High level of discipline knowledge and understanding of area of practice
  • Able to combine knowledge of discipline and the market, some perspective on customer requirements
  • Participates in demos utilizing new tech.; self-directed controls
  • Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methods
  • Constantly learns from both success and failure
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion
  • Good verbal and written communication; able to effectively articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes
