The Internship Program 

The Hearst Magazines Summer Internship Program is a paid, full time 11-week program for undergraduate rising Juniors & Seniors. From June 3 – August 16, 2024, our interns will gain an immersive, hands-on experience with one of the top publishers in the world. 

In addition to working with their assigned team on important projects, interns will gain access to Hearst’s diverse professional network by participating in intimate learning sessions and join fun peer networking activities throughout the summer. Program participants will also leverage Hearst’s resources to work on and present a group project to senior leaders at the conclusion of the program. 

Your Impact 

The Digital Enablement function leads strategic projects to aid each team within the Revenue Operations division to execute advertising programs faster and with more insight. The goal of this department is to drive efficiency, scale and automation across all teams ranging from Client Success, Campaign Management, Pricing/Yield and Revenue Analytics. This team holds the expertise and documentation of workflows and corresponding systems, while creating project plans for enhancement, include implementation and adoption efforts. 

What You'll Do

  • Support the efforts of the Director, Digital Enablement in strategic project planning, documenting progress, communicating results, and implementing new process and adoption 
  • Aid in the creation of documentation to be utilized by the Revenue Operations organization 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to audit and centralize resources utilized by all team members 

Who You Are

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Superlative knowledge of the competitive digital publishing landscape 
  • Strong analytical thinking abilities 
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail, while also having the capacity to multitask effectively. 
  • Ability to interface and collaborate in a professional, efficient, and amiable manner; aptness for clear, effective, and precise oral and written communication. 
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work and think independently while also being a team player. 
  • Studying Communications, Business, Advertising, Digital Communications, Media or related major

The estimated base salary for this role is $20/hour. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands and conditions, including geographic location where the work will be performed, and other factors permitted by law. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. 

This role requires the position to be located in New York, NY with an in-office presence of 3 days a week.
