We are seeking an outstanding Business Intelligence Engineer on a 12-month fixed term contract to uncover key insights about marketing efficiency of Prime Video owned and operated marketing channels across the globe and improve churn prevention.

Key job responsibilities

  • Support the analytical needs of stakeholders in the marketing, finance and PV product teams, including analytical insight, automated report building and metric design
  • Build predictive models for customer impressions and partner with finance on business cases
  • Partner with technology teams to ensure availability of required data sources
  • Ensure that the quality and timeliness of analytic deliverables meet business expectations

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

London, GBR

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
  • 2+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering within a technology environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
