Make a Positive Difference
At MedStar Health Home Care, RNs make a positive difference in people’s lives by helping patients heal in the comfort of their own homes. RNs support care plans for each patient and then help patients and their caregivers achieve progress toward their goals for improved health and independence. As a RN at MedStar Health Home Care, you have the autonomy to make individualized patient-centered decisions to promote optimal clinical care.
The homecare team includes nurses, physical and occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, medical social workers, and home health aides who are dedicated to meeting patient needs 24/7/365.
Get Paid for Your Time While Making a Positive Difference
MedStar Health Home Care Nurses are paid on a unique “Pay Per-Visit” (PPV) model. Rather than a set hourly rate, the per-visit payment model compensates employees based on the type of patient visit conducted in the field. Visit types that take more time, like a patient admission visit, pay at a higher rate than a traditional revisit. This model aggressively compensates our highly skilled team for their time and expertise in the field. It allows our team the flexibility to visit patients on their preferred schedule because they can decide the number of patients they care for each day or week.
