Overview

The role is responsible for supporting & partnering with the IT function (s) as applicable, e.g., operations to provide reliable and accurate financial information and forecasts to support decision making and optimize financial results. It will work closely with business teams in the PSP, AOP and Forecast process by providing spend visibility to Global & Sector Finance teams. The role will also partner with IT Leaders and IT Business Partners as applicable to provide relevant and accurate financial analysis.

Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

  • Support all activities related to Hyderabad IT Planning
  • Manage the IT-Capex Budget for Hyderabad office.
  • Support the Hyderabad Finance team in the Financial modelling for PSP, AOP and rolling forecasts.
  • Work with stakeholders to finalize employee mapping to projects and run monthly allocations.
  • Ensuring charges are booked on appropriate cost centers to ensure cross charges accuracy.
  • Work with sectors to provide required information on timely basis and ensure charges are accounted for in the financial records.
  • Support Hyderabad-IT budgets, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and ad-hoc requests – providing consultation and executing actions.
  • Manage the overall process IT Labor contracts by working with stakeholders and sector teams to ensure alignment and timely communication of expected cross-charges. Ensure expenses are captured on the right cost centers and ensuring accuracy of cross-charges.
  • Partner with the Sector Finance teams to ensure alignment and timely communication of expected cross-charges/invoices.
  • Work with stakeholders for identifying project allocation and cross charge information for Hyderabad IT resources.
  • Lead the finance process for the fieldglass platform. Setup checks and controls to ensure financial accuracy by working with HBS Controls and Reporting teams.
  • Prepare dashboards for Hyderabad IT-Finance lead and Finance Director to drive performance evaluation
  • Support Finance team’s initiative on process simplification and drive efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Work Experience of >4 years for Chartered Accountant or 5-8 years for Commerce graduates.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, with an Accounting or Finance concentration
  • Strong financial & analytical acumen
  • Practical exposure preferred in roles like: Finance, Accounting, Reporting, Analyis etc.
  • Sound knowledge of SAP & Oracle Accounting Systems.
  • Experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, Office 365.
  • Ability to provide thought-leadership and business partnership to a cross functional team
  • Able to communicate complex financial strategies and activities inside and outside of finance
  • Ability to support multiple managers and organizations in the matrix environment
  • Strong collaboration/matrix management
