Introduction

Are you a bachelor's student in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering looking for an apprentice internship? Do high tech embedded systems interest you? Do you have good knowledge in object oriented C++ and python? Then this internship might be interesting to you!

Background information

EUV Source Laser Beam Control group is working on challenges involved in positioning of high-power laser beams used in Plasma Creation to generate EUV light in advanced EUV light sources.

Your assignment

In this internship you can explore uncharted territory in the area of embedded cameras. You will perform a feasibility study on a brand new camera sensor to be used in our latest EUV machines.

Task include but are not limited to:

  • Creating and setting up test application software to make measurements to ensure that the camera sensor is able to operate at specified frame rates;
  • Testing the camera hardware;
  • Testing camera software interface;
  • Ensure functionality and tests meet ASML specifications.

Your Profile

To be a perfect match for this internship, you:

  • Are a bachelor's student in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering;
  • Have knowledge of object oriented programming;
  • Are analytical, product and quality-oriented;
  • Are passionate about technology and working in a team with many design engineers to exchange technical ideas and discuss technical solution.
  • Are solution oriented and have a hands-on mentality.
  • Have good communication skills in English (verbal and written)

This is a bachelor internship with the duration of 5 months, for 3-5 days a week, starting in July/August 2024 (Q3).

Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a school for the entire duration of the internship.

This position requires access to U.S. controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such U.S. controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access U.S. controlled technology.
