Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor or higher in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering or Science.
  • Posses professional certification according to the Announcement of the Ministry of Labor on Occupational Safety of Employees.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing company.
  • Strong knowledge of the local laws and regulations concerned on Environmental Health and Safety.
  • Familiar with Machine guarding and LOTO requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Good communication and coordinate ability for working with relevant functions.
  • Able to communicate in English.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure the company is compliance with the Environmental Health and Safety legal requirements and TE EHS Global Standard.
  • Perform Health and Safety Risk Assessment, Aspect and Impact Assessment and periodic inspection on the company’s activities, processes, and equipment.
  • To identify EHS risks, onsite inspection, keep monitoring. propose the corrective action, tracking and follow up for ensuring the EHS system are well maintained and timely closure.
  • Developing and providing EHS training, education and guidance to Employees, Supervisor and Manager.
  • Promoting Environmental Health and Safety awareness to employee through various activities.
  • Conduct the internal S.A.F.E. system, TEOA and ISO 14001 Audits to determine its effectiveness.
  • Implemented the duties of the safety officer in professional level which identified in Ministry of Labor on Occupational Safety of Employees.
  • Any other duties as determined or assignment by the EHS Manager.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT (IF ANY)

  • Occupational Health and Safety Committee Course, The Department of labor and welfare. 
  • Train the trainer for Occupational Health and safety for new employee pursuant OSHE Act.
  • EMS System (ISO 14001) and Occupational Health System.
  • Specific personnel responsible for the security and storage of hazardous substances, The Department of Industrial Works License.
  • Behavioral Bases Safety Program.
  • Basic Fire Fighting or Advance Fire Fighting. 
  • Environmental Management such as air pollution control, energy saving, waste management.
