Description

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development of world-class 3rd party experiences by bridging developers to core engineering teams. Your role will focus on enabling developers to create the most innovative apps using Apple technologies while ensuring exceptional user experiences. Collaborating multi-functionally, you will partner with developers onboarding into Apple Vision Pro, support their creation of novel spatial apps, debug/optimize user experiences, and understand developer API needs. Your responsibilities will often include developing software, crafting demos, debugging developer experiences, identifying development challenges, implementing solutions against problem areas, and curating insights. The ideal candidate has a strong background in game/graphics engineering and is driven to solve challenging technical problems on behalf of developers. Strong communication skills are essential, as is your ability to translate technical information to technical on non-technical audiences. The ability to work independently whilst fostering collaborative relationships is important.

BS/MS in Computer Science OR equivalent industry experience. At least 5 years of relevant industry experience is required.

  • Knowledge of modern renderers and rendering techniques
  • Experience working with 3D content and content creation tools like Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, etc.
  • Experience developing apps for Apple platforms (UIKit, AppKit, or Metal)
  • Understanding app ecosystem, business models, and competition
  • Understanding of API / SPI design and implementation

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
