The Devices Development Group (DDG) within the Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) team plays a key role in helping Intel win by delivering comprehensive pre-production test suites and component debug capabilities to enable high-quality, high-volume manufacturing. We make manufacturing a competitive advantage by improving product quality, execution, and yield, by enabling new fab and packaging technologies, accelerating post silicon throughput time, and enabling product disaggregation. Who You Are

We are looking for world-class engineers. As an Intern, you will work both independently and with a team on at least one of the following:

  • Assist with the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp.
  • Contribute to design development and validation of testability circuits.
  • Help develop and debug software programs to support design validation vectors test equipment.
  • Create and test validation and production test hardware solutions.
  • Analyze and evaluate component specification versus performance.
  • Analyze early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities.

You will autonomously plan and schedule own daily tasks and solve problems with sound logical thinking and logical analysis.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in VLSI and Electronics, obtained through a combination of schoolwork, classes, research, and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
  • Coding skills in C, C++, C#, or other OO programming language, OR in a scripting environment Python or PerlData structure statistical data analysis.
  • High motivation and results orientation; strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team collaborating in a fast-paced atmosphere.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
