Procurement Manager - Business Partnering Tissue
The Procurement Manager Business Partnering is the main interface towards the local tissue manufacturing sites and internal stakeholders. S/he is the first point of escalation in case of any procurement related topics. S/he is accountable for the procurement related topics in the site master plans within her / his area of responsibility by ensuring the activities are in line with the procurement category strategies, that priorities are aligned with the Procurement Operations Manager and at the same time meeting the site’s needs. S/he provides insights from a site perspective considering business requirements and local trends throughout the Global Procurement organization.
About the Role
You will join Ecuador's Team, reporting to the Regional Procurement Manager Business Partnering. This is a full-time permanent position based in one of our Manufacturing Sites, having under your responsibility Ecuador's Sites.

What You Will Do
Execute Business Partnering strategy
- Execute procurement business partnering strategies, ensure compliance and follow-up if required
- Act as Procurement first point of contact for the business on local level and manage relationships with internal stakeholders
- Make sure that all the procurement activities are integrated in the site(s) master plan(s).
- Liaise with Global Category Managers and the assigned Buyer for respective initiatives
- Is the first point of escalation for the manufacturing site in case of any procurement related topics, such as supplier and / or quality matters
- Represent Global Procurement on local level in audits and other site visits
- Ensure local stakeholder satisfaction, execute respective action plans and resolve issues.
Drive Local Efficiencies
- Challenge demand and drive optimization by providing best practice insights
- Supports the procurement organization on projects and provides local insight
- Manage global / regional contracts’ local implementation incl. contract announcements, user enablement and supplier introduction on a local level
- Identify risk areas on local level, liaise with SQM / Sustainability and other Procurement teams to develop action plans and steer the execution of mitigation actions
Contribute to Procurement Excellence
- Provide business feedback aiming to improve system efficiency and standardization to continuously enhance Source to Pay process
- Provide manufacturing insights on KPIs setting / analytical reporting development needs
- Guide stakeholder to the right speaking partner buying channel within the Global Procurement organization
- Ensure supplier management, sustainability and CSR strategies are being integrated into the local business / site strategies
- Optimize internal stakeholder satisfaction and local supplier relationship by consulting the Procurement Operations team on an improvement/action plan
Who You Are
- Professional with complementary training: MB or equivalent.
- With experience in multinational mass consumption companies in similar positions in purchasing, projects and innovation areas.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, the last 3 years in management of large teams.
- Microsoft tools management, desirable Power BI and SAP.
- Fluent in English (B2).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
