THE WORK:

Ripple is growing and so is our People Team! We’re looking for a Senior Benefits Specialist.

You will directly impact how benefits are delivered at Ripple and ensure an exceptional employee experience. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Benefits, who envisions this role as a strong subject matter expert and go-to person for all things benefits. This role requires prior experience with high-growth companies scaling their global benefit programs. The ideal fit has a flexible mindset and is comfortable with ambiguity and change.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Own the benefits employee experience by managing the benefits ticketing system and serving as a point of contact for employees through onboarding, offboarding, and other major employee milestones
  • Manage full end-to-end ownership of leave of absences, accommodations, time off, life, and disability
  • Manage full end-to-end ownership of all retirement and financial wellbeing programs
  • Maintain all ongoing benefits compliance responsibilities, filings, audits, postings, and reporting (ERISA, ACA, SPD, SBC, HCSO, COBRA, HIPAA, SAR)
  • Act as a benefits subject matter expert supporting business needs through the employee lifecycle
  • Serve as a trusted partner and collaborate with key global stakeholders (Legal, HRBPs, People Operations, People Technology, Finance) to ensure smooth and consistent processes

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

  • 5+ years of experience in global benefits in an evolving and high growth environment (US experience strongly preferred)
  • Depth and breadth of experience in global benefit including administration, compliance, communication, and financials
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners
  • High proficiency in benefits-related systems. Experience in Workday, Google Suite, Confluence a plus!
