This role requires a dynamic leader who can collaborate across multiple departments to ensure seamless integration of mobile technology with the broader digital ecosystem, and to enhance the customer journey through the entire post-purchase lifecycle.

  • Lead with a customer-first approach, continuously seeking to understand and exceed customer expectations through innovative technology solutions in partnership with business stakeholders and product management 
  • Develop and execute a cohesive technology strategy for consumer mobile apps and post-purchase experiences that supports our business ambitions and our technology priorities 
  • Promote a culture of accountability and excellence within your team, encouraging proactive decision-making and process optimization to refine the customer journey. 
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in agile software development, continuous integration, and automated testing to accelerate time-to-market and improve quality. 
  • Spearhead innovation by nurturing a curious mindset among team members, inspiring bold ideas and challenging the norm to meet evolving customer needs. 
  • Deliver sustained results that not only fulfill current standards but also strategically position Nordstrom for long-term prosperity, ensuring a collaborative and high-performance team ethos. 
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders and Product Management to successfully deliver for our customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. 
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in technology, with at least 10 years in a leadership role managing technical teams using agile methodologies 
  • Deep understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android), technologies, and development frameworks. 
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing mobile applications and technology projects. 
  • Demonstrated leadership in guiding sizeable cross-functional teams, instilling values of respect, inclusion, and community. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on active listening, empathetic leadership, and the ability to forge trust across various levels of the organization. 
  • Strategic acumen with a zeal for innovation, embracing change, and delivering transformative solutions that exceed customer expectations. 
  • A commitment to operational excellence, with a focus on delivering robust, stable, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $221,000 - $365,000 annually. This role is also eligible for cash and equity bonuses.

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
