Seeking Senior Financial Analyst consultants or those with similar level expertise. We are engaging clients here in Metro Detroit with financial analysis and other related roles on a contract, consulting and/or project basis. Responsibilities May Include:

  • Support financial budgeting and forecasting to streamline business planning and decision-making processes
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for forecasting variance, trending, other miscellaneous analysis
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain financial performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of business operations
  • Identify and recommend strategies to improve financial performance and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and projects
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior financial analysts
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and reporting
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as necessary

Requirements and skills

  • 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial software
  • Macros, Power BI, Tableau, Power Pivot, SQL, Access and/or related software systems preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred
  • Experience with budgeting and financial planning
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
