Digital & Operational Excellence is a new organization that will catalyze the global development and execution of Pharma Technical Operation's Digital and Operational Excellence strategy to enable Pharma Technical Operations (PT) to realize our performance promises. The Head of Cyber Security PT will be part of Digital & Operational Excellence reporting to the Global Head of Digital, Analytics & Operational Excellence.

The Opportunity

As a Head of Roche Pharma TechOps Cyber Security you will play a leading role in Pharma Technical Operations (PT) to establish and maintain a robust cybersecurity framework to safeguard the digital landscape of our pharmaceutical capability to manufacture and deliver therapies to patients, fostering trust among stakeholders, and ensuring the protection of critical assets, sensitive data, and intellectual property.

  • ln this pivotal role, you will be recognized for profound expertise and leadership in the cybersecurity domain, operating across the spectrum of departments within Roche. Your role extends beyond the conventional boundaries, and serves as a linchpin within the Digital & Operational Excellence Chapters, influencing decisions, and steering the Pharma Technical Operations Cyber Security Strategy with a visionary approach.

  • cybersecurity, combined with a broad understanding of related functions, positions you as a cornerstone in our efforts to safeguard our digital assets and infrastructure.
  • Your role is critical in aligning our cyber security efforts with Roche's global corporate Cyber Security Strategy, ensuring a unified and fortified posture across all operational and informatics domains, to ensure that our manufacturing processes meet
  • current and future cyber security requirements.


  • You will be responsible for overseeing and implementing Cyber Security Assessments and training throughout all Pharma Technical Operations departments and locations worldwide. Your directive will include a vital examination of our cybersecurity stance, guaranteeing conformity with the utmost
  • standards of security distinction and regulatory adherence.

Who You Are

  • You have a Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field with a specialization in cybersecurity and 10+ years of industry experience, demonstrating high degree of proficiency in designing, developing and executing of complex strategic projects and operations in cross-functional global distributed teams
  • You possess profound expertise of standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to cyber security and IT/OT and
  • familiarity with relevant cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and IEC 62443.
  • Deep experience leading/working with multinational global distributed teams in an agile setting along with strong communication skills including cross-functional communication ability, and being able to communicate complex technical concepts in a digestible manner up to CEC (Corporate Executive Committee) level.

Preferred

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, etc
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry including a deep understanding of manufacturing and technical operations.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $192,600 - $$395,100. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
