Product Specialist Specialty Care Romandy (West)

Responsibilities

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Deliver high quality customer calls to specialized health care professionals (secondary care; other targeted specialists), integrating digital tools (e-detail, 1:1 email etc.) to deliver appropriate content.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product and disease area knowledge to influence product advocacy across influencers and key decision makers that leads to uptake of our medicines.
  • Achieve an effective coverage and frequency of activity on target secondary care customers to drive levels of awareness, usage and advocacy.
  • Build trust and develop relationships with key secondary care in stakeholders using an account management approach including stakeholder management, particularly within the larger hospitals.
  • Responsible for achieving regional targets according to the plan.
  • Understand regional performance, competitor activities, customer networks, and customer perceptions to develop and implement aspects of the regional account plan.
  • Work collaboratively with regional key account managers, medical and marketing to drive an integrated approach.
  • Prioritise and execute segmentation and targeting plan according to respiratory strategy, in line with local legal requirements and GSK guidelines.
  • Support implementation of services/solutions/commercial propositions to ensure that all patients who could benefit from a GSK medicine, within license, have access to it.
  • Responsible for managing processes related to role, including updating CRM information, processes related to governance of projects and sponsoring.

Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field (Master’s degree preferred) or equivalent para-medical education.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant Key Account Management, Marketing or related roles (Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Industry).
  • Proven track record of building and managing relationships with key HCPs and Specialists.
  • Ability to discuss scientific and medical data with external and internal stakeholders, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (German and English).
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, healthcare reimbursement, and payer landscapes.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and tactics.
  • Proficient in project management and business context comprehension, with a focus on showing responsibility & leadership in cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled in prioritizing and coordinating multiple aspects of individual and team work to achieve specific objectives, demonstrating excellent planning and organizational abilities.
  • Results-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, characterized by a proactive “can do” and “will do” attitude, coupled with proven time management and multitasking capabilities even under pressure.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative matrix-environment
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (German is a benefit)
