The Senior Marketing Specialist will work directly with Marketing and Industry leaders across specific industries and will serve as an integral team member in helping drive marketing results for these practices. The person in this role must have a passion for project management, digital marketing and campaign planning. BDO is looking for a self-starter with excellent writing skills who is very organized and has a positive and collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or Business Administration, preferred

Experience:

  • Four (4) or more years of marketing experience, required
  • Prior experience working in accounting, financial consulting, business advisory, and/or professional services, preferred

Software:

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the Firm
  • Ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a customer service focus
  • Detail oriented with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects while working independently or within a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of the development, management, and execution of sales processes including lead generation, pipeline management, account planning, sales strategy, and development
