Work at CBC/Radio-Canada
At CBC/Radio-Canada, we create content that informs, entertains and connects Canadians on multiple platforms. Our successes and accomplishments are driven by embodying and upholding values, which include creativity, integrity, inclusiveness and relevance.
Do you think you have the ability and drive to keep up with this exciting, ever-changing industry? Whether it be in front of the camera, on air, online or behind the scenes, you would be joining a team that thrives on making connections and telling stories that are important to Canadians.
Your role
Please note that this is a full-time role requiring you to work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) but providing flexibility for the rest of the week. This is a hybrid position.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Audio Operations, you will plan and organize the operational activities and assignments of the division’s digital editors, especially on weekends, in conjunction with the editorial and coordination teams. You will also work with all Radio-Canada audio and radio departments as well as coordinate a national literary competition (Les prix de la création).
You must follow up as needed should issues arise in the production of digital audio content (radio, podcasting and musical), deploying solutions to keep production on schedule and on budget while staying in constant contact with everyone in the affected departments.
You must establish a weekend content outreach strategy for Radio-Canada OHdio with the content manager, providing editorial oversight of the content featured on the app during the weekend shift.
You will coordinate yearly activities for the three Prix de la création in tandem with CBC Books and other Radio-Canada divisions.
