Do you think you have the ability and drive to keep up with this exciting, ever-changing industry? Whether it be in front of the camera, on air, online or behind the scenes, you would be joining a team that thrives on making connections and telling stories that are important to Canadians.
As a reporter based in Toronto, you will file for ICI RDI news programs as well as for Radio-Canada current affairs shows serving Ontario.
You will also be asked to contribute to all editorial platforms, including radio and digital, in order to cover current events and issues of regional and national interest with clarity, depth, accuracy and thoroughness in compliance with CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices.
With a solid understanding of all media platforms, you are able to work effectively in a continuous news environment and produce impact journalism. You are known for being a good team player, open to varying assignments and able to generate strong story ideas. Over time, you have built a wide-ranging network of contacts.
