The Portfolio Counselor is a client-facing portfolio advisory role. This role will be responsible for building multi-asset portfolio for high net-worth clients and help the clients to reach their financial goals over the long term. You will spend time understanding our clients’ goals and objectives and guide them throughout the wealth building journey with your investment and portfolio advisory expertise.

It is also your responsibility to analyze the implications of different investment options on the overall portfolio and accompany the clients to get on track to achieve their long term goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand client’s financial goal and objective and provide holistic advisory on multi- asset portfolio
  • Advise High Net Worth (HNW) Clients on multi-asset portfolio allocation setup and rebalancing
  • Explain the Citibank house view to clients on macro-economics and various investment asset classes
  • Help clients to optimize the return of their portfolio and aim to achieve higher risk adjusted return.
  • Meet HNW clients every quarter to closely monitor the portfolio performance and risk parameters
  • Focus on organic growth of portfolio investment return and new AUM growth

Requirement:

  • Articulate the portfolio analysis with high intellectual capabilities and impactful presentation in English and Chinese.
  • Good analytical skills with in-depth knowledge on financial markets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with and co-ordinate between various stakeholders.
  • 8-10 years of experience in relationship management, product specialist, investment research, insurance or financial communications.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, flexible and capable of working under time constraints
  • University graduate in Finance, Business Administration or relevant disciplines
