About the role

Responsible for engaging across product life cycle and seeking specific problems along patient journey. Collaboration with internal and external partners to achieve growth objectives through a series of activities, services, and projects sought to optimize the patient's journey.

Accelerate time to treatment and ensure better patient experience for Novartis priority brands and launches.

Participate in the development of local strategies and tactical plans and ensure their implementation; this includes building close relationships and attracting targeted customersas well as acting in the field.

Major Accountabilities

  • Identify the needs and challenges, and implement strategic and innovative solutions tailored to customer needs, with focus on validated critical points in patient journey
  • Build a holistic understanding of customer needs and priorities by partnering with stakeholders across strategic healthcare ecosystems
  • Lead, develop and implement customer-centric and patient-centric projects along entire life cycle of the brand that enhance outcomes across the end-to-end patient and prescriber journey
  • Actively seek business opportunities based on clear and full understanding of products and key accounts to maximize Novartis access and sales
  • Build positive customer relationships with diverse customer groups to secure Novartis ambition to stay top tier company and partner for healthcare industry
  • Monitor competitor activities and therapeutic trends closely as well as be able to gauge opportunities in the marketplace
  • Apply Agile and Design Thinking methodologies in creating new solutions for the business. Support cross-functional teams in adopting new ways of working
  • Work in Agile cross-functional squads on project execution and engage stakeholders dynamically, also beyond Baltics
  • Represent country on Cluster and regional innovation and other forums. Share best practices with other countries, seek to adopt existing solutions
  • Provide input to local organization to consider specific customer needs/perspectives in overall product strategy
  • Own timely project execution and follow budget allocation of initiatives in scope
  • Plan and implement innovation processes to create value for our stakeholders by leveraging innovative and digital initiatives
  • Drive business transformation and growth, in line with commercial acceleration initiatives, going beyond traditional business model solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within our high-performance team environment
  • Ensure compliance in all interactions throughout the organization and maintain regular liaison with the Regional and Local compliance functions to ensure that all processes and activities are compliant with internal and external policies
  • On time reporting of spontaneous adverse events (AE) reports and technical complaints for all Novartis products

Role Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Graduate degree preferably in Business Administration, Pharmacy, Science or Allied Medical Courses

Experience:

  • Proven execution of large projects
  • Proven understanding of health care system
  • Experience in competitive selling or key account management
  • Previous background/experience in medical or scientific work beneficial
  • 5+ years of relevant experience working with high-performing marketing, medical and access teams in healthcare/life sciences industry
  • Leadership skills and experience engaging with and introducing innovation into healthcare environment
  • While entrepreneurial, ability to maintain the highest degree of integrity, represent the company’s high ethics, moral behavior, and professionalism
