Introduction

Gallagher is seeking a passionate marketing technologist and data-driven strategist that thrives in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. We are searching for a dynamic Marketing Automation Leader to champion and scale our rapidly expanding digital marketing function.

Working with our enterprise marketing automation solution, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, this role is crucial in guiding marketing automation efforts from email marketing to lead management to sales enablement. This role will be responsible for ensuring our marketing automation plan aligns with business objectives and achieves operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is an expert at leveraging marketing automation and digital marketing tactics to execute and optimize campaigns and drive high-quality pipeline growth.

How you'll make an impact

  • Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for marketing automation centered on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform
  • Collaborate with marketing leaders across the organization to shape campaign tactics and priorities
  • Lead all aspects of the marketing automation team in productivity, dependency and effectiveness
  • Establish marketing automation metrics by developing and evaluating KPIs for monitoring and assessing marketing activity
  • Execute marketing automation campaigns through email delivery, distribution list creation, automations, journeys, nurturing, lead scoring, personalization and performance reporting in a flexible and timely manner that meet business objectives and maximize ROI
  • Ensure data quality and integrity of customer data (clients, prospects and leads) within the platform, enabling detailed segmentation and persona-based targeting
  • Work closely with technology teams to develop, maintain and optimize a scalable and secure platform
  • Cultivate a marketing automation center of excellence across users of the platform
  • Act as the Salesforce Marketing Cloud point of contact for teams across the organization as well as with vendors

About you

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience leading a digital marketing team
  • Proven digital platform builder with a strong track record of leveraging digital channels and enhancing a brand through online capabilities.

Highly Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 7-10 years of experience in marketing automation, operations, or demand generation
  • Deep experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including implementation and process design to maximize the value of the platform
  • Ability to train and communicate complex technology usage to less technical stakeholders while establishing well-documented processes
  • Experience handling integration between various marketing technologies
  • Strong analytical skills, comfort with data, and the ability to communicate findings at all levels of the organization to drive action
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and a growth mindset
  • Understanding of pragmatic marketing strategies and customer lifecycle marketing
  • Previous familiarity/direct experience handling and/or advanced usage of Salesforce CRM system
  • Extensive experience managing, training, and mentoring staff of various expertise levels.
