Who You'll Work With

You will join our Stockholm studio as part of McKinsey Design. This award winning studio in Stockholm is our largest European design hub, and has previously won the coveted Red-Dot Team of the Year award.

What You'll Do

As an intern at McKinsey Design, you will explore the opportunities available within our dynamic design studio to deliver change that matters by taking a human-centered design approach to a variety of projects that integrate great designs into products, ecosystems and environments.

In this role, you will join our multidisciplinary design teams to support on and learn within all stages of the design process - from research and insight generation to concept and detailed deliveries within your area of expertise – be that digital, product or service design.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in digital product design, physical product design, service design or similar
  • Passion for your discipline and belief in its power to drive holistic change
  • Curiosity to learn and adopt new tools and methods
  • Ability to contribute to projects from the start and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to function, adapt and succeed in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and motivation to deliver the highest quality of work
  • Entrepreneurial, experimental and self-driven
  • Proven skills in tools and methods of your area of expertise (e.g., Figma or similar for digital design, sketching, and rendering for physical product)
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English 
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client sites when needed
  • Available full-time for 6 months
