The Opportunity

The project execution R&D role is the liaison assigned to a functional area to manage the demand and portfolio needs in I&T. You will coordinate across I&T stakeholders to ensure demand is curated with an appropriate capacity plan, project managers are tracking to milestones, and appropriate project management methodology is applied to the organization.

The Role

• In collaboration with the Vice President R&D I&T and Business Office, acts to implement our project management methodology, processes, and policy to ensure agreement on corporate strategy and goals
• Ensure successful realization of major and/or complex projects within cost, time and quality constraints
• Manages project management resources and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
• Develop and manage project managers, measurement and metrics to ensure projects are delivered within the defined scope, quality, time and cost requirements
• Ensure project management skills and techniques are applied throughout the organization, delivering timely and quality results
• Provide applicable business best practice guidance where needed while supporting continuous improvement to applicable technology platforms and applications
• Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with enterprise standards
• Ensure that end users understand how to use these new tools and resolve any issues they may encounter

Your skills and experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline; education in a technical discipline preferred; MBA/advanced degree preferred
• PMP certification desirable

Experience

• 10+ years IT experience including specific experience in IT security
• Experience working within a GXP environment
• Experience managing IT projects within a global environment
• Demonstrated leadership experience including influencing senior management and important stakeholders
• Pharma/Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience desirable
