WHAT TO EXPECT

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our downtown Denver office, the Sr. Analyst, Project Management & HR Communications you will focus on Project Management for the global HR team to support strategic scoping, planning, and implementation across various global HR projects. You will partner across the HR organization to assist with data reporting and create and manage effective communications for Gates' HR team, including executive and support communications. 

Key responsibilities:

Project & Change Management:

  • Supports multiple global projects, including coordinating the completion of projects within tight timeframes and deadlines, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring resource availability
  • Leverages change management methodologies, processes, and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
  • Conducts impact analyses and assesses change readiness
  • Aides in defining of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring feasibility
  • Communicates updates and any key changes to the project scope, schedule, stakeholders, and costs using appropriate techniques
  • Develops project plans in human resources that identify key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics, and resources required
  • Tracks and measures project performance, reports, and escalates priority and completion

Communications:

  • Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), leadership, and partners across the global HR organization to develop strategic communication plans and foster positive working relationships across departments, regions, and with applicable stakeholders 
  • Creates content for global HR communications using our approved branding assets to include but not limited to training materials for processes, annual HR cycles (i.e. compensation planning, talent management, performance management), project updates, etc. 
  • Advises HR leadership and other staff on development and improvement of internal and external communication strategies to reach and engage with employees effectively
  • Collaborates with the Gates Corporate Communications and Marketing team to promote HR programming and updates to internal and external audiences; Develops and implements strategies that enable HR to cultivate meaningful relationships with targeted internal and external key stakeholders
  • Maintains and updates the HR internal communication pages, ensuring that content is current, engaging, and accessible
  • Writes, edits, and distributes communications across Gates under minimal supervision to ensure all staff and other departments are updated on key initiatives and departmental activities 
  • Participates in decisions concerning project outsourcing and coordinates production with external vendors as needed, including copy shops, printers, mail houses, media, graphic design, and independent contractors
  • Copyediting and proofreading HR documentation

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's degree, from a four-year college or university with degree in communications, marketing, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 3+ years' experience in project management, public relations, communications, marketing, or relevant experience
  • Skillful in using Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Experience with project management and tracking implementation and completion to meet goals
  • Experience supporting team meetings and planning processes, experience with global matrix teams preferred
  • Effectively organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks to meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Think critically and write clearly and concisely
  • Be a creative problem solver
  • Serve as an analytical, detail-oriented team player who can also work well independently
  • Excited to work in the office with great teammates
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

PAY & BENEFITS

  • Full-Time
  • Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
  • Relocation is not provided 
  • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire
  • Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued 
  • 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match
  • Tuition Reimbursement
