This Opportunity:
Palladium is seeking a Deputy Chief of Party for a potential 5-year USAID Kenya Integrated Pharmaceutical and Supply Chain Technical Assistance (KIPS) project. The Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) will lead the Palladium team to achieve all project technical objectives. S/He will be the project technical lead and will ensure that the project goals will be met.
Thus, the DCOP needs relevant experience leading medium to large teams with global health supply chain programs. The DCOP will also be one of the main points of contact for the USAID Contracting Officer in country. S/He will coordinate and liaise with other stakeholders, including government agencies, other donor-funded projects, implementing partners, USAID, and other donors. The DCOP will support timely implementation and will provide reports across technical activities by working with technical leads to maintain a general organizational order of all ongoing technical activities. The DCOP will also manage in-country project staff by providing direct supervision to senior project leadership.
