Inviting applications for the role of Manager, UX Designer

In this role, you should understand our users’ needs, generate insights to solve their problems, understand the data, research, prototype designs, and test them with users. In addition to being a strategic partner, you must enjoy creating excellent user experiences: mapping consistent streams and contributing to compelling user interface designs and interaction models/patterns.

We are looking for a passionate UX Designer to own and lead the user experience for genpact.com and other Genpact microsites.

Responsibilities

You will constantly make our website more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and help our clients.

  • Lead the way for UX best practices and standards for the web experience and customer journeys on Genpact.com and other Genpact microsites
  • Collaborate and communicate those practices effectively among site stakeholders, content strategy, and the web teams
  • Use appropriate data, experiments, and research to proactively inform continuous design and usability improvements to the website, such as from analytics suites, heatmap analysis, user feedback and surveys
  • Collect site, page requirements, and translate those to user-oriented designs for the web experience
  • Create and communicate prototyped designs effectively among diverse business stakeholders
  • Create precise specifications for UI development teams to implement
  • Collaborate effectively with agencies and acquisition teams on website enhancements and additional web property integrations
  • Design and optimize digital assets, including landing pages, email templates, banners, social media graphics, and other marketing collateral.
  • Lead whiteboard sessions periodically for UI/ UX concepts using sound web design principles
  • Work autonomously as well as collaboratively on team-based projects in a matrixed organization

  • “How might we” statements, which capture a problem that the ‘new design’ aims to solve
  • Paper / digital prototypes
  • Wireframe in Figma
  • High-fidelity and pixel-perfect mock-ups
  • User research and usability reports
  • Heuristic evaluation reports
  • User testing reports
  • Design elements to lead the user’s journey map

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum qualifications

  • You should have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and native-level fluency in English. You should be a devoted defender and ambassador of the Genpact brand and our values.
  • Should be curious, courageous, incisive, and full of integrity. Plus, you will need to demonstrate enthusiasm to learn, work, and succeed in a rapidly evolving environment. You must be kind, caring, friendly, and nice.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or UX-related field of study
  • Relevant year of experience in UI and UX experience designing for dynamic and personalized web experiences
  • Proficient presentation and project management among business stakeholders with varying influence over website outcomes
  • Upholds web accessibility standards end-to-end in concepts and optimizations
  • Can work within existing brand guidelines
  • Proficient prototype and design skills in Figma, In Design, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
  • Ability to use wireframing tools, like, Figma or similar tools
  • Ability to collaborate and run workshops effectively online. Comfort with Miro, Mural, or Sketch is a plus
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail
  • Relevant year of experience of as a UX Designer, or a similar role
  • A strong portfolio of design projects
  • Bachelor’s degree is a must
  • An understanding of what is driving digital transformation for businesses, with an interest in emerging technologies – e.g., AI, machine learning etc.
  • Degree, diploma, or certificate in UX-related field of study
  • Native-level fluent English speaker, reader, and writer

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Has tolerance for ambiguity, is comfortable with change, and can flex quickly.
  • Relates openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.
