The Clerk IV within the Kornberg School of Dentistry's, Department of Oral Surgery coordinates the non-clinical patient functions within the clinic. 

Primarily the Clerk IV will be responsible for greeting and checking patients into the clinic, scheduling and confirming appointments, registering new patients, and creating and maintaining patient files. In addition, the Clerk IV will be responsible for tracking and maintaining patient flow within the practice, answering phones including screening calls, taking messages, answering questions of a non-complex nature, and assisting with insurance verification and entry into axiUm, billing functions and payment of fees. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

At least one year of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Previous experience within a dental, medical, or higher education environment.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English.
