Description:The Automation Framework (AF) Team is searching for a Full Stack Web Application Developer to join our team of developers building and supporting the AF tool suite.

Automation Framework is a Lockheed Martin developed suite of web applications built around the test process used to build and test earth-orbiting and interplanetary spacecraft. AF has taken decades of knowledge and formalized it into a paperless process that provides full traceability throughout the test lifecycle.

Desired candidates will work closely with our development team and customer representatives via agile processes to develop and support the web-based applications used by Lockheed Martin Space for Assembly Test and Launch Operations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop secure, performant and maintainable software
  • Must be able to work in a self-directed manner while coordinating with other developers
  • Expected to document your work including tracking activities via Gitlab (developer level and end-user documentation)
  • Coordinate directly with internal customers via agile and iterative development processes
  • Thoroughly test code using a combination of automated test tools and manual testing processes
  • Support installation, release, and operational use of the software
  • Flexibility to perform additional assigned tasks as our products evolve
  • Expected to quickly learn frameworks and technologies employed by the team
  • Support LM Space test personnel using our software as they build, test and launch spacecraft
  • This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to maintain that clearance throughout the position lifespan

Basic Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated, self-directed (able to work with loose guidance) and highly collaborative
  • Full Stack Web Development experience including most of the following:

o HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

o Java (or derivative such as Groovy)

o Understanding of the HTTP Request / Response process (including REST)

  • Database proficiency (preferably ORM)
  • Experience developing software deployed to the JVM
  • Applicant must have an active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance

  • Containers / Cloud (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • RESTful Web Services / GraphQL

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $85,900 - $164,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
