This Senior Fisheries Biologist will sit within the Pacific Northwest Fisheries & Aquatics team, within the Ecosystem Analytics Planning and Design group. The Pacific Northwest Fisheries & Aquatics team assists clients with a range of services including river management, restoration and culvert removal prioritization, hatchery planning, freshwater mussel and offshore aquaculture science, and regulatory compliance, using ecosystem modeling, field, eDNA and research techniques along with regulatory knowledge.
Job Description
The Pacific Northwest Fisheries & Aquatics team is currently seeking to fill a full-time mid- to senior-level fisheries biologist position in the Pacific Northwest (PNW) with a regulatory focus. Work may be based out of an ICF office, remote or hybrid pending location.
This person will initially have a technical (non-managerial) focus and contribute to a range of projects across PNW ICF teams that require fisheries and regulatory support. With wide-ranging clients, projects may be focused on a variety of sectors including forestry science, river management, culvert evaluation and removal prioritization, fisheries and hatcheries, restoration planning, offshore wind operations, dam operations, transportation, or others. Work may include research, writing, facilitation, and data-analysis. Strong communication and time-management skills are required.
Regulatory experience could include support of projects focused on the Endangered Species Act Section 7 and/or Section 10, National Environmental Policy Act, State Environmental Policy Act(s), California Environmental Quality Act, Clean Water Act, the Marine Mammal Protection Act, or others.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$65,416.00 - $111,207.00
