The Biology Department of the College of Natural, Behavioral, and Health Sciences at Simmons University is seeking applicants for an adjunct instructor position in the Biology Department to teach Biol 231N-01 – Anatomy and Physiology I, Nursing section in person, to begin January 16th, 2024 and end May 6, 2024. 

Course Description

Biol 231N- Anatomy and Physiology I presents an integrated approach to the fundamental facts and concepts of human anatomy and physiology. Examines the constitutents of the human body through inverstigation of tissue types and histology, with further emphasis on skeletal/muscular and nervous systems, and endocrine control. Laboratory includes histology, gross anatomy, dissection, and physiological experiments.

Responsibilities: The adjunct instructor will be responsible for lecturing and leading in class discussions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00-9:50AMClasses from January 16th - May 6th with final exams May 8th – 11th, 2024. 

Requirements: Master’s or Ph.D. degree, experience teaching Biology courses. 

Preferred Qualifications: experience teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology or Animal Physiology
