Your future duties and responsibilities:

We seek an experienced Agile Scrum Master to join our dynamic team at CGI. As a Scrum master, you will facilitate and

coordinate Agile Scrum processes for our AI/ML based product development, ensuring the team can work

collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will work closely with the product development team (consist of Data Scientist, Architects, Product Owners, UI/UX

developers) to ensure that the work progresses on schedule and to the desired level of quality. Additionally, you will

serve as a coach and mentor to our team – helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that the

team is meeting its objectives consistently.

Anchor and effectively apply the Agile Manifesto, SAFe core values, Lean-Agile mindset and SAFe principles to lead

multiple high-performing, cross-functional agile scrum/Kanban teams.

  • Coordinate Sprints and all the Scrum ceremonies like daily stand-ups, Sprint retrospective meetings, Sprint

planning, Backlog refinement

  • Ensures development stories, acceptance criteria, assumptions, and all related documentation are timely and

complete, supporting development, testing, and user acceptance activities.

  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.
  • Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
  • Removing impediments to the Development Team’s progress
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks and helping them to create high value products
  • Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
  • Protecting the team from outside distractions and interruptions
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration.
  • Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)
  • Ensuring that the team's progress is transparent to all stakeholders. This includes maintaining a visible product

backlog and burn-down chart.

  • Planning and organizing demos
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.
  • Provide reports to the management at the end of each sprint
  • Working with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must to have skills-

Bachelor’s degree with 6-10 years of overall experience and min 4 years of product or project management

experience on an Agile Team or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • Certified Scrum Master or SAFe certified preferred
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word,

and Excel

  • Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles.
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. scrum Kanban). Or understanding of software development

life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices

  • Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other scrum techniques
  • Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
