Are you the European channel Marketing lead that brings key account planning across Europe to a higher level?

You will be leading the European channel marketing team for electronic super stores and be of strategic importance in the European key account planning/tracking cycle. Masimo consumer is at a pivoting point transforming from a Hifi/Audio specialist into a consumer centric solution company, working with both audio specialist and large electronic retail partners. You’re driving this turn with your enthusiastic mindset, strong people management skills, a data driven approach and strong experience with (electronic) retail players.

When joining us, we expect you to grow our EU channel marketing team and plan for exponential growth with our 15 strategic key accounts in Europe. Of which some are located in Germany (Mediamarkt Saturn, Expert Euronics) and others are in France/United Kingdom/The Netherlands. You will be closely working with the rest of the European team and be involved in cooperation with our global brand teams.

As this role will be a European role, you will manage a team of approximately 5 Channel/trade-marketeers with different nationalities.

Essential Responsibilities:

Marketing Management – Team lead electronic super stores channel (ESS)

  • Leads the channel marketing team by target setting and personal development.
  • Steers the Channel marketing team and commercial organization by defining the ESS channel’s integrated Marketing strategy and manages the execution in alignment with the EU and Brand team tactics.
  • Synchronizes commercial- and marketing objectives. Takes an active role in the larger EU commercial excellence team.
  • Manages the channel investments budget which is appointed to large key accounts in this chanel (= ‘costs to serve budget’)..

Key account planning and monitoring:

  • Initiates strategic key account planning across the largest 15 key accounts in Europe: build structure, deploy and measure. Take a data driven first approach. 
  • Challenge local market teams how to growth their electronic retail partners and share experience actively.
  • Team up with key account managers and Go To Market managers to initiate new commercial activations and share best practices. 

Advertising/Activation:

  • Creates an annual activation plan for the ESS channel, complementary to the EU Paid Media & Campaign planning.
  • Manages in close alignment with the Go To Market manager the strategic promotional calendar including the Black Friday/Cyber week approach.
  • Plans, implements, monitors, and reports return of investments of activities based on sell out data.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6- 8 years of experience in Consumer-focused Integrated marketing or trade marketing: PR, Media, Events, Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing & Channel Marketing.
  • Experienced in working with hybrid/e-commerce retail partners
  • Experience in Omnichannel campaigns with significant electronic superstores knowledge.
  • Experience in retail media planning and Event management.
  • Personality: pragmatic, organizational talent, open communicator, analytical.
  • Expected to travel in Germany (20%) and EU (15%), including non-business hours when required (e.g., for events and trade shows)
  • Bachelor/master’s degree in marketing
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced in working with key retailers Mediamarkt/Saturn/Otto/any other large electronic retail partner in Europe.
  • Familiar with the German and French language
