A strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting is required. Perform analysis of variances between budgeted and actual results as well as various performance metrics. This role will sit primarily in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly variance analysis to budget
  • Perform quarterly forecast analysis
  • Produce timely and accurate analysis
  • Work in conjunction with manager to complete analysis of potential risks and opportunities
  • Monitor and provide analysis of Business Unit performance
  • Understand and analyze business trends
  • Financial analysis that cuts across multiple business units and financial areas
  • Perform Ad Hoc analysis as requested
  • Work with manager and Business Intelligence team to develop financial metrics, performance reports and dashboards

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics or other quantitative discipline; MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of financial analysis experience
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • CMIC and/or MicroStrategy experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Construction accounting a plus

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. 

For Providence, RI this ranges from $94,300.00-$129,700.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
