Direct Responsibilities

  • High collaboration & partnership with Technical and Business Process teams to design, document, and obtain approval for integration designs between various SAP and non-SAP on-premise and cloud systems
  • Expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite with hands-on development of interfaces. Expertise on the BTP Global Account, Sub account, Security –user roles required for SAP BTP CPI, Cloud connector, Destination Services, API Management, SAP BTP Cloud Transport management.
  • Guide the team to implement the best-in-class interfaces and Stay up to date with the latest features provided by SAP . Articulate the best Practices in Integration within the team and as well to the multiple Solution Architects across all the platforms.
  • Drive the Basis admin teams to perform the Integration setup required between SAP , S4 systesm to all the various intetgration tools ;
  • Collaborate with ABAP COE, Solution Architects , Legacy System admins , Multiple Service partners and the Stakeholders to ensure the delivery of integration is in place.
  • Collaborate with Network, Infra and Security teams for seamless integration setup and work with Compliance tasks and questions.
  • Drive the Application Maintenance (Support ) teams to ensure the Incidents related to SAP BTP CPI and PI are not escalated due to technical reasons.
  • Contribute to integration architecture, strategy, design, and roadmap of all API / Integration needs of SAP S/4 HANA with both SAP & Non-SAP cloud applications
  • Contributes to the team’s long-term technical roadmap while helping mentor members of the engineering team
  • Oversight of our delivery partner responsible for the day-to-day operations of our SAP integration platforms
  • Resource management of the SAP integration engineering team and prioritization of delivery
  • Prepares stakeholder and leadership communications detailing quality, performance, and business issues
  • Contributes to departmental budgets and salary planning
  • Conducts development planning and employee evaluations for direct reports

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 14-20 years overall relevant professional experience in software engineering and solution architecture
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a delivery manager or project manager
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical experience with SAP Integration Suite (SAP CPI, SAP API Management, SAP API Business Hub, Open Connectors)
  • SAP S/4 HANA implementation experience or equivalent next-generation business transformation implementation with a focus on API-led and event-driven integration constructs
  • Demonstrated skills in integration delivery, client relationship management, vital sense of urgency in delivering results, business knowledge, intuition and judgment, high cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity, and strong communication/collaboration.
  • Experience leading IT projects and/or programs with strong SDLC experience, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies. 
  • Experience working with outsourced partners
  • Portfolio and project management experience
  • Strong facilitation skills are required. Must display vision and resiliency
  • Verbal and written fluency in English is required

  • Demonstrated experience in S/4 HANA with cloud architecture and end-to-end business processes, systems configuration, and enhancements with compelling decision-making skills related to defining and implementing integration architecture and design best in class practices
  • Thorough understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools
  • Significant learning agility with an outcome-oriented and transformative mindset bringing forward best-in-class purpose-built technical designs
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal business, technical, and external consulting teams 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams and vendor partners 
  • Experience working in a global, cross-cultural environment with peers, leaders & teams across geographies
