This role is responsible for the overall coordination of Audit tasks in Technology Infrastructure department. The key focus is to ensure All audit requests are fulfilled and delivered timely with quality.

Overseeing the process of Audit Requests / Artifacts Preparation / Extraction from understanding and reviewing of Audit Requests, briefing of Audit Requirements to Support Teams, planning of Artifacts Extraction / Preparation and to work with Service Owner to determine the Readiness of document / artifacts requested by Internal or External Audit. Works with various teams in Technology Infrastructure and in Group IT to organize or produce the required document or artifacts.

To ensure document or artifacts are in compliant with Audit Requirement and Group Policies.

To maintain status report of Audits.

To follow up on Audit Findings and Closures.

Make an Impact by:

Audit Management

  • Overseeing the process of Audits, Risk / Advisory Controls or IT Reviews / Cybersecurity Assessment which includes
  • Extraction of artifacts from computer systems.
  • Ensuring it is in compliant to the audit artefact requirements and group policies.
  • Deliver within required timeline. 
  • Review of Audit Requests
  • Brief Service Owner on Audit Scope, Request and Timeline.
  • Work with Service Owner(s) and SME(s) to review and confirm the artifacts, rectification of gaps or non-compliance if any.
  • To track the status of artifacts delivery. 
  • To produce regular report when required.
  • To work closely with Infrastructure Teams (network, operating system, database, middleware, IT-workplace teams) for Artifacts.
  • To work closely with Internal and External Auditor, InfoSec or CyberSecurity and Application teams.
  • To conduct end-to-end regular User Access Review from extraction, mapping, review, removal and sign-off.
  • Prepare clear, concise status report to track the Audit Progress.
  • Complete follow-up reviews to ensure adequacy and timeliness of corrective action.
  • Follow up on Audit Findings, Draft Management Response and Actions that lead to closure of the findings.

Skills for Success:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology 
  • Minimum 3 years of IT auditing, internal controls, or cybersecurity experience with a focus on executing operational audits.
  • Strong knowledge of IT audit methodologies, frameworks, and standards (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST)
  • n-depth understanding of IT general controls, application controls, security controls, and cybersecurity principles
  • In-depth understanding of various Operating Systems (AIX, RHEL, Wintel) and Databases (Oracle, MsSQL, MySQL, Sybase, Postgres) platforms and configurations.
