What would you want someone to know about autonomous maintenance within Supply Chain?

Transcript

What I want you all to know about autonomous maintenance is that it's all about capability building, as well as equipment ownership. When you think about something that's yours, you take more pride in it, and you wanna make sure that it, whether it's a car, it runs good every day, whether it's something in your house, an appliance, that if there's something wrong with it, we fix it. Is it something that I can fix? So when you think about autonomous maintenance, we really try to drive home three key things, cleaning and inspection, defect finding and fixing, as well as center align, making sure that every shift is running their equipment the same way, that takes out that variability of what actually is going on in my equipment? Is it an equipment issue or is it an operator issue? And once we identify those things, we can really start to reduce a lot of the challenges that the operators are having on the floor and make sure that when they come into work every day, that they're not stressed about, "Oh my God, I have to really deal with this equipment again," versus coming in and, "I'm having a great day, my equipment is running well, and I know all the ins and outs of my equipment and what I need to do to fix it."
