Oracle Graduate Program – Consultant Developer (IGIU)

Division: Oracle Energy and Water

Locations: Makati, Philippines

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (onsite & WFH) 

Start Date: July 2024

Entry-level consulting position for those who are new to professional services and are developing their expertise. Receives detailed instruction on routine work and on new projects or assignments.

As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices with limited autonomy. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.

What to Expect:

  • Convert simple-moderate Technical Design specifications into a working system through coding and unit testing with appropriate supervision.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high quality programs within agreed budgets and time. 
  • Perform unit testing of programs according to defined process using the unit test plan and cases.
  • Provide quality assurance by walk-through of programs written by peers.
  • Provide support during system testing, user acceptance testing, Go-Live and warranty periods.
  • Provide documentation of developed programs.
  • Assist in project teams packaging activities.
  • Provide regular status reports to the Team Lead/Project Manager.

Who You Are:

  • 2023 and 2024 Graduate of bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Must be academically completed prior to onboarding dates.
  • Strong exposure in OOP, Java, and SQL in either thesis or internship
  • Good understanding of relational database design and normalization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with the team and clients.
  • Ability to read and understand data models.
  • Ability to work in a driven team environment.
