JOB SUMMARY:

Primary responsibility for developing and implementing processes and policies to improve efficiency and performance of the Design Center.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Audit sales systems to ensure that information is accurately carried from point of sales through installation in the field
  • Build, maintain and update option data base systems
  • Work directly with suppliers and manufacturing representatives to ensure proper products are displayed in the Design Studio and specified homes
  • Communicate option sales and finish selection information within a fixed schedule (POS) to all purchasing, construction, and trades to ensure installation of correct products in the field
  • Create and organize Option Sales binders for each community. Include standard and optional features with appropriate collateral from vendors and subcontractors
  • Ensure all sales transactions and buyer information is processed and accurately retained in accordance with Pulte policies and all legal requirements
  • Ensure that all parties are informed of model number changes and discontinued products, including Design Center, Estimating and Purchasing departments. Work with home buyers to reselect discontinued items
  • Manage retail pricing to achieve division option gross margin targets
  • Conduct buyer option/upgrade appointments as needed
  • Perform other duties and administrative activities as needed

REQUIRED EDUCATION: (degree, licenses, certifications, etc.)

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Interior Design Degree and License preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: (work related, tools/equipment, software, etc.):

  • Related Functional Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years related builder experience and/or Interior Design experience with Associates or Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum 5 years related experience with High School Diploma
  • Management, design, or sales background.
  • Knowledge of designing, blueprint reading, and Microsoft Office Software.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively, handle multiple tasks at once, and communicate and write effectively.
