We are looking for a Senior Director of Technology, Product and Digital Solutions, Office of the CTO to join the Ad Hoc Team. Please note this position requires in-office attendance weekly/biweekly, as well as the ability to meet with Customers. You must be able to commute to the office at 1350 I Street, Washington DC as needed.
This is a remote position.
Ad Hoc is a digital services company that helps the federal government better serve people. Our teams use modern, agile methods to meet the needs of our users while closing the gap between consumer expectations and government.
Work on things that matter
Our teams connect Veterans with services designed for their needs, help millions of people access affordable health care, and support important programs like Head Start. As we work with agencies to deliver critical services, we’re also changing how the government thinks about and uses technology.
Built for a remote life
Ad Hoc is remote-first and remote-always. We’ve designed our culture, communications, and tools to support a nationwide team. Being remote allows Ad Hoc to bring the best people onto our teams and give them the freedom to create a work environment that fits their lives. Maybe you need to adjust your schedule to care for your family or take a bike ride. At Ad Hoc, that’s welcomed.
Committed to high expectations and a welcoming culture
Ad Hoc values acceptance, accountability, and humility. We aren’t heroes. We leave our egos at the door to learn from our mistakes and improve the process for the next time.. We build small, inclusive teams to bring the best of consumer technology to the problems of government.
As a Senior Director of Technology, you are responsible for articulating and evolving Ad Hoc’s technical capacity: its services, capabilities, and associated methods and skills. Your leadership keeps Ad Hoc at the forefront of industry trends, drives innovation and competitive advantage, and aligns our technology strategy with company objectives.
You will act as the company’s primary point of contact and expert in your domains, working internally and externally to evangelize the value and benefit of Ad Hoc’s approach. You will make recommendations to senior leadership and implement their decisions, provide technical leadership and mentorship across the company, and interface with customers to articulate our value. You will work closely with the company’s Growth and Customer Success teams to advocate for, cultivate, and secure new opportunities and partnerships that deliver on company objectives.
This role demands a dynamic leader who can navigate the intersection of strategic vision, talent management, and effective collaboration to realize Ad Hoc’s vision to close the gap between consumer expectations and the reality of government digital services.
