2024 Electrical Engineer Campus Hire of Engineering Rotation Program

Our Electrical Engineering team puts the spark into the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production. It takes experts in system architecture definition, design, prototyping, sourcing & the debugging and validation of layouts or routes to deliver state-of-the-art products for a changing world. We work closely with designers, cross-functional teams within Dell Technologies and suppliers to make sure electronic designs meet a range of requirements, including schedule, feature set, functionality and quality, as well as industry standards.

Join us as an Electrical Engineer as part of our Client Solutions Group (CSG) Engineering Rotation Program in Taipei to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

The Engineering Rotation Program provides you a fast-paced, dynamic organization in a supportive environment that encourages learning and growth. The program consists of 3 rotations, each 12-months long, to offer you the ability to learn across different projects, solutions, and technical deliverables needed to bring our products to market. Built into the program are key opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and career progression.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will design, modify and evaluate electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry to build electronic equipment and other hardware systems regarding our desktop/ laptop/ peripheral products.

You will:

  • Be supported by technical subject matter experts, mentors and peer advisors that will provide day-to-day support, grow your Dell network, and assimilate you into the Dell and CSG culture
  • Complete the rotation program with a deeper understanding of the CSG Engineering portfolio, accelerated technical expertise, and the ability to align your passions to your future career at Dell
  • Confirm design approaches and parameters, contribute ideas to drive the innovative design solutions for commercial notebook PC, education chrome book PC and mobile workstation systems
  • Prepare equipment and test plan requirements to perform verification; conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Debug and solve developing/validation issues.
  • Reviews ODM and sub-tier vendor capability to support product development and production

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant fields and expect to graduate between February 2023 to December 2024
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that will make you a great collaborator in a global team environment
  • Electrical schematic design and layout knowledge based on X86 architecture
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable Requirements

  • Internship experience in a technology related field
  • Participation in roles outside of the classroom
