Job Summary

We are looking for a Supply Chain Excellence Manager with a strong track record in delivering supply chain and operations transformations for industry leaders.

In particular they will understand the key supply chain challenges including globalization, product, process and asset digitization and supply chain operations optimization. They will have the deep experience of the transformation program lifecycle from strategy through to implementation. They will be part of the Supply Chain Transformation team, which is a core part of our Procurement & Supply Chain Excellence team at the forefront of digital procurement, manufacturing, and supply chains to improve productivity, quality, time-to-market, cost and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Be a change agent and senior representative of the Supply Chain team transformation at Equinix
  • Deliver on the roadmap for Equinix’s supply chain digital transformation – identifying and developing talent within the function, drawing on your own technical expertise and experience
  • Lead various projects under the Supply Chain Centre of Excellence taking full ownership from launch of the project, stakeholder management, delivery of key milestones and closing of the project
  • Deliver KPI metrics in accordance with the SC strategy, whilst remaining compliant at all times.
  • Leverage knowledge in digital tools to guide Business Functions to best use of the planning system whilst ensuring successful implementation and adoption across the Equinix network
  • Liaison between the business and Equinix IT team, consultants on Equinix’s Technology Governance, best practice process implementation and Technology Portfolio Management: Demand intake, maintain pipeline opportunities, opportunity assessment prioritization, strategic alignment, & roadmap development in support of our annual strategic planning cycle
  • Champion technology, automation to drive sustainability & modernization across Equinix
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including business functions, procurement, logistics, and sales teams, to ensure smooth supply chain operations
  • Conduct thorough financial impact assessments on supply chain decisions, such as sourcing, inventory management, and production planning
  • Use financial modeling and analysis to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of different supply chain scenarios
  • Implement inventory optimization techniques to minimize carrying costs while maintaining adequate stock levels to meet demand fluctuations
  • Collaborate with cross functional team on demand planning, supply planning, and integrated business planning to optimize inventory and supply planning
  • Identify and assess supply chain risks with potential financial impact, such as supply disruptions, currency fluctuations, or regulatory changes
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on supply chain performance, financial metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CSCP, CFA) is a plus
  • Proven track record experience in supply chain management, best practices including S&OP and Integrated Business Planning, MRP, and financial analysis at global scale
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and cost management
  • Proficiency in using financial models and analytical tools to make informed decisions
  • Experience with MRP systems and supply chain software
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance considerations related to the supply chain
  • Robust knowledge of supply chain key issues and challenges from Strategy, Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Procurement and Sustainability
  • Experience of working at a senior level to structure programs within a major consultancy, strategy ore tech organization
  • Team player and great communications skills
