The Boeing Company is looking for a CI/CD Automation Engineer (Associate/Experienced/Senior) for its location in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

This position will support the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Satellite Systems Division specifically the RockNet Software Development Services (SDS) team.

This team is growing and needs a CI/CD Engineer to support the development of CI/CD pipelines. The role will be supporting software development of our Nation’s newest systems for Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3) programs.

The CI/CD Engineer will perform as part of a high-performing team and have the opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of innovative technology in an agile environment interfacing with internal and external stakeholders; to include customers, industry partnerships and various disciplines (software, systems administration, cybersecurity, configuration management).

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced and Senior Level Software Engineers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

This position requires an Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required), with the ability to obtain a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance and program access (post start). (A U.S Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year working with CI/CD pipelines and other automation experience such Gitlab CI/CD and Ansible
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform and Vagrant
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with cloud native and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS, and Docker
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with common scripting languages such as Bash and Python
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with the Linux operating system

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years working with CI/CD pipelines and other automation experience such Gitlab CI/CD and Ansible
  • 3-5+ years of experience working with infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform and Vagrant
  • 3-5+ years of experience working with cloud native and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS, and Docker
  • 3-5+ years of experience working with common scripting languages such as Bash and Python
  • 3-5+ years of experience working with the Linux operating system
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices including OWASP, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation
  • Solid interpersonal skills and a desire to improve the developer experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level 2)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range:

Associate (Level 2) $85,000 - $115,000

Experienced (Level 3) $104,550 - $141,450

Senior (Level 4) $122,400 - $165,600
