For our Global Business Services Center (GBSC), located in TSUM Business Center, we are looking for a Bid Control Specialist with German.

Responsibilities:

  • The Bid Control Specialist ensures that the Rainbow(Risk Assessment In Named Business Opportunities Worldwide) Bidding process is properly executed.
  • They maintain discipline, relay the RBU/Industry governance, and ensure the quality of the content for proper Final Joint Authorisers’ decisions.
  • The Rainbow Manager is the process owner of Rainbow Bidding. They decide how the process will be applied, considering both business and control requirements. They are empowered to adjust and tailor the Review process to the bid at hand for efficiency as long as the control objectives are met (i.e. combination of Reviews).
  • The Rainbow review process is actively handled by the Rainbow Manager. This includes: –scheduling Reviews and invitations (with the help of the Rainbow Support Office where exists); ensuring the right attendance –ensuring that the Review documents are presented in proper quality –moderating of Review –ensuring that authorizers take decisions with all the necessary knowledge –keeping of minutes and tracking of action items
  • Moreover, the Rainbow Manager provides management reporting on opportunity status across the Group and communicates, interacts, and joins forces with other Business Assurance functions to limit contract and delivery weaknesses.
  • The Rainbow Manager actively participates in the definition of the Rainbow Group guidelines and related improvement plans and initiatives. They ensure that RBU/Industry staff and all Rainbow stakeholders are sufficiently trained on the Rainbow process and maintain Updates & Refresh training sessions.
  • The Rainbow manager is issuing and analyzing different reporting in order to monitor the activity, anticipate the next phases, check compliance with Rainbow rules, and report to the Group Bid Control.
  • The Rainbow manager is a business partner for our Global Industry Head and Finance and Top Management (Group and/or RBU). As such, he will have close relationships with all rainbow stakeholders, including the Top Management

Skills and competencies:

  • The successful candidate will have a degree in Master Business Administration and/or Economics and/or Finance, and a minimum of experience in a Large international IT Services Company, either in IT Operations, or in finance and controlling, or internal audit and compliance or in bid management.
  • They must be a team player, have strong analytical skills, have the potential to act as a peer, coach, and advocate manager, be self-motivated, have a strong track record, and be considered a high-performer and talent.
  • They must have an open personality and convincing communication skills (written and oral). He should be able to be concise without forgetting the main aspects and issues in his communication. He has demonstrated an ability to work as part of a multicultural team with strong critical thinking skills. His credibility will be based upon his ability to quickly understand the situation and be internal-client-focused.
  • They should be conscientious, organized, and proactive, and demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, understand large matrix organization, and adapt to change. Effective communication skills as well as professionalism in interactions with team members and/or other departments are critical.
  • They must have tools skills (Salesforce, SharePoint, Excel) and like tools, be automation oriented
  • Fluent German is required. An international background/experience and the ability to speak other European languages are appreciated.
  • Work hours flexibility will be required when necessary (time hours of the RBU/Cluster Country to work for and flexibility regarding business activity)
