Job Description

BAE Systems is looking for well-qualified professionals to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting sustainment and modernization efforts for the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (MMIII ICBM) weapon system. The successful candidates will have experience with the complexities and challenges of the ICBM maintenance environment and be well versed with the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS). This is a very dynamic position that will foster opportunities to support the entire MMIII weapon system.

Duties for this position include:

  • Use of Major Command implementing instructions, AFCSM 21-series manuals, and applicable technical orders to validate work orders entered into the IMDS
  • Review maintenance data for accuracy, completeness and proper reporting of mission status
  • Use maintenance data for trend and error reporting
  • Validate maintenance discrepancies for proper and accurate parts requests
  • Develop standardization and training for the maintenance data system

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years experience
  • Master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years experience
  • Experience is defined as ICBM maintenance/operations, ICBM maintenance management/production and/or IMDS data system proficiency
  • Detail oriented, with excellent time management skills; ability to multitask and balance competing priorities in an effective manner
  • Ability to interpret/apply applicable Major Command implementing instructions and associated technical orders
  • Strong interpersonal skills; works well with others, and responds well to directions
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Candidate must possess or have ability to obtain a minimum of a Secret security clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Strong knowledge of data management and spreadsheet operations

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89280 - $151740

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
