Job Description

The Senior Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, management, implementation, and oversight of all activities related to external communications and public relations to drive brand awareness and growth in its key industries, improve employee engagement, and help the business achieve its revenue objectives.

This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic global B2B communications and marketing team during an exciting period of company growth. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, you will plan and execute a wide variety of external communications activities and work closely with internal department heads and our external PR resources. You’ll work closely with the social media & communications specialist, the strategic events team, digital marketing, and a team of highly accomplished, knowledgeable thought leaders. This is a hybrid role working two days onsite.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Exceptional ability to write in an engaging and dynamic style. Professional, but not jargon-y. Conversational, but always appropriate to the unique industry audience.
  • A head for storytelling; translating complex concepts and data across health and business into compelling content that works across written, graphic, and video formats.
  • A curious mind, entrepreneurial spirit, and genuine interest in the conversation around the healthcare and technology industries.
  • An eagerness to collaborate with peers who work in content marketing, creative direction, video production, customer marketing, sales enablement, human resources, paid media/demand generation and more.
  • Excellent project management skills – ability to plan, organize, prioritize, build structure, and execute a vision on deadline and with attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently by establishing and growing meaningful, trust-based internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing all enterprise-wide day-to-day public relations activities
  • Developing and implementing publicity strategies for all enterprise-wide product and services launches, announcement, and our hosted events
  • Creating and managing a PR plan, including budgets, timelines, etc.
  • Analyzing all media coverage of the organization and drafting appropriate responses
  • Working with the social media team to optimize content calendar
  • Managing press opportunities and representing PG Forsta at press conferences, interviews, etc.
  • Nurture and leverage relationships with existing and potential media partners
  • Grow and maintain brand awareness and reputation.
  • Own and communicate PR reports on a quarterly basis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5-7 years in a Public Relations agency or similar environment
  • Public Relations & strategic communications expertise
  • Healthcare and/or technology experience strongly preferred

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000- $120,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
